"Tales of Mom" is a scenic tour of the Arkhangelsk region, the territory of two lakes, Lexmozer and Kenozer, in search of the lost cultural treasures of Russia. Once upon a time, this area was inhabited by fairy tales, from which only myths and legends remain today. In fact, as in the case of native Russian culture. Everything flows, everything changes, and at the same time it is lost and forgotten. Although we all know that there is no future without the past.
From the interview of Marat Faizullin: "Music in the film occupies a special place. For several months I was only looking for status and sound. I tried different instruments, techniques, musicians, studios. For me it was a long immersion for a whole year! That's the decent thing to do, and it should end there. "
With the help of rare tools, Marat Faizullin was able to create a fabulous, mystical atmosphere.
